This diesel is barely broken in with less than 75,000 miles and the defective fuel injector destroyed the engine,requiring an estimated $7000. in repairs,which is now in process at a Ford garage. They are replacing the head and repairing the piston wall,than replacing the piston and putting it back together.
I contacted Ford to try to get help with the repair bill twice and was told how sorry they are but TOO BAD. They did offer to let me buy my next truck on the x plan. I asked why I would buy another after the bad experience I am having with this F350. We bought the truck when we retired to pull our 5th wheel. The ironic thing is we only used it 5 months per year. If we would have driven it full time,we would have reached this 75,000 miles while it was still under warranty. Needless to say,we are not happy Ford owners.
