The entire body of the traffic is speckled with rust. The electrical system has the same issues that we have taken to the dealership repeatedly with automatic start and they cannot fix it also it tells us other things are wrong that or not. We keep taking it back but they keep telling us it's fixed minutes not.

Truck is less than 3 years old and recently serviced at Ford dealership. After recent service the truck wouldn't start. When the truck was checked both large factory installed batteries had catastrophic failure leading to battery acid corrosion destroying wiring, potential the the braking system and other electronics that were exposed to battery acid and corrosion. There is tremendous damage to the truck and a large chemical spill from the acid. Dealership quoted over $1800 in damages. Truck was a fire and chemical hazard because the failure was hidden by a factory cover, a huge copper cable was free to arc and could have ignited the battery or caused a dangerous electical fire.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-350. When the vehicle was started, all of the instrument panel warning indicators remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (kalispell Ford, 2000 rose crossing, kalispell, mt 59901), but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 55,000.
- Hungry Horse, MT, USA
The contact owns a 2015 fifth wheel solitude (na) travel trailer being hauled by a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated that there was a premature failure with the wires associated with the brake system. While braking, the brake pedal was difficult to apply and the contact had to use excessive force. The repair shop diagnosed that the wires ran through the middle of the axle, and the coating was worn and caused a short with the wires, which caused the brake failure. The mechanic rewired the wires to the back side of the axle, clamped the wires on the outside, and repaired the travel trailer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided no repair recommendation as well as no solution to ensure that the repairs were sufficient. The VIN was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000.

Engine stopped once in the road pulling a 40 ft.R.V..intermintley severe loss of power and trying to overheat. Comeing down a 7200 ft. Mountain I lost the R.V. brakes, engine brakes & the tow haul mode (to help slow down) all I had was the truck brakes going around 80 M.P.H. by the time I got stopped all 4 wheels were smokeing cooking the related parts, rotors, brake pads, calipers, wheel bearings in my opinion.later in a town going slow and stopping the brakes pulled violently to the right, a few more traffic lights then violently to the left. Failing to clean the diesel exhaust filter as needed. Sometimes the wipers come on one time when starting the engine. 3 attemps to fix the engine problems and in my mind it is not fixed yet, most of these problems happened at higher altitudes. All this information should be in the trucks black box, since I could have gotten killed twice I have not let the dealer have the truck again as it is running O.K. now and I have ordered a new truck because I am afraid of this truck. The dates are approximate, the dealers and I have a copy of the repair attemps. I was on the same roads two years ago with a 2011 F-250 same engine and a heaver load and did not have any problems.
