For years my truck starts vibrating excessively, shaking the entire vehicle when driving over certain sections of roadway or bumps. Sometimes, my steering is difficult to maintain when this happens. This occurs at speeds around 50 mph+. I always assumed it was just a bad road section and never pursued any repair as I didn't think it was a truck issue. Recently, I have come across some articles, that described my exact situation/condition when driving my truck. It makes me have to slow way down below the speed limit for the violent shaking to stop. Sometimes, I though it was just my stiff suspension on bad roads. It is being called the Ford Death Wobble and affects many Ford Super Duty Trucks. Who knows what other components of my truck have been unduly affected due to this manufacturer's safety issue with my truck and that appears to be a situation that occurs often with other Ford Super Duty trucks. I'm concerned one day it will cause me to lose control and crash or crash into another vehicle. To my knowledge Ford has not issued any recall's regarding these safety problems. My truck has been to the Ford shops many times but nothing addressed regarding this condition. It has occurred so many times, I can not even count, well over hundreds of times over 8 years. The most recent time it occurred was about two weeks ago on [XXX] in Colorado Springs. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My wife and I were pulling a 40-?? fifth wheel from AZ to Idaho. On the Montana side of 4th of July pass I suddenly get a trouble code. The exhaust filter is full. My wife and I are both handicapped so in the mountains pulling our rv scared us both. I pulled over when I could and called Ford. The guy tells me to just drive it at a constant speed over 45 and it should clean itself. My question was I-??ve been traveling over 45 for miles so why is it full" No explanation, however, he tells me if it doesn-??t clean out then the trk will go into limp mode and that-??s not good. But also says we should be ok for the 200 remaining miles until we get to Idaho. Well here-??s the problem. My understanding is that this component is part of the emission system and is not something that is life nor death if it isn-??t working. Well we get part way up the mountain not fifty miles in the middle of no where and the trk suddenly starts loosing power on a two lane mountain pass with two handicapped people, one 70 and one 62. This trk slows to 5 mph in first gear and that-??s it-??. That as far as I-??m concerned put our lives in danger! We could have died over a stupid part of the emissions system that Ford decided was important enough to put a vehicle into a not even a limp mode but actually create a dangerous situation. Why so they can charge me $200 to clean it. Which is done by hooking a code machine to the trk and telling it to clean the exhaust filter and it all automatic. I understand this limp mode and other computer controlled systems Ford and other manufacturers built into their vehicles allows them a way to get you into their shop but taking my wife and my life into their hands is not only dangerous but should not be allowed on such a level. If we would have been hit or injured because of this there would have been a law suit for sure. So now what???"

I am writing because I own a 2016 ford f-350 that has had a clock spring contamination recall for months. The manufacturer has NOT developed a fix for this problem and I cannot use the vehicle for rental purposes because of this recall. This situation is coding me hundreds of dollars per week and needs to be resolved or they need to buy the vehicle back. Can you help?

The 2016 model does not include a cabin air filter. It put me and my kids at risk. It puts the elderly, people with immune issues, kids, etc., at risk. I developed severe asthma at 37 years old and a non smoker. Over the past 4 years, driving the 2016 Ford 350, it came with unexplainable upper respiratory infections. I'm now on 2 types of inhalers. I spoke to Ford and they did not care that the 2016 model does not have a cabin filter. (If this was not a problem, then why does the models after 2016 come with one??) All I was hoping, is that Ford would add a cabin air filter to my truck. I'm not asking the company to pay the doctor bills or give me back 4 years of breathing. I'm just asking for the company to apply a piece of equipment to my truck that would help me breath and not directly take in all stuff coming in my truck. I literally smell everything. Everything comes through: Vehicle exhaust from other vehicles Chemicals in air Pollution while driving in cities (dallas) Pollen Dust Clay/dirt Smoke...fires burning...cigerate... Just driving on the interstate, other vehicle exhaust comes in. I turn ac off. (It gets hot inTexas) This sets off asthma attacks. Even if parked and someone has their truck running...the exhaust comes in. I'm considering talking to a lawyer about about this, since Ford will not consider my complaint and willing help me. However, I care about others. No kid should be inhaling exhaust or anything that can cause issues with the lungs. I wish Ford would do what's right and fix the 2016 models. After being in and out of doctor's offices, I was diagnosed with severe asthma on 12/27/2021.

I am a handicapped 65 yr. old male. I purchased this vehicle in 2019 used from a FORD dealer. Marchese Ford, Lebanon, NY. Pretty much since I have owned this vehicle, The back up camera has been working intermittingly. Sometimes it will work but lately, It is just lines and distorted objects. Or, will not come on at all. As I cannot work, I can't afford the money to diagnose the problem. I do know that it is not the camera as my son tried the camera on his friends truck and it worked properly. Now I see a recall for over 600,00 vehicles and am hoping to include my truck as I need this camera to back up as I cannot turn completely to see me surroundings due to illness/injuries. My truck is diesel and has the DEF installed. I have spoken with several diesel truck owners and with the exception of a couple of individuals everyone has had system DEF failures. I contacted Ford inquiring why it hadn't been recalled as GMC and Chevrolet apparently has. Was informed that not enough vehicles required repair.

The backup camera works intermittently and/or is distorted. I had the vehicle in under warranty and the dealer's service department could never diagnose the problem. Now I hear there is a recall on 2020 Ford trucks. The news coverage of the reca, 2016.ll describes exactly what has been happening with my vehicle since is was new. I am writing in an attempt to get the recall expanded to my 2016 Ford F350. The problem has been occurring since the vehicle was brand new. I took delivery on may

Several events during acceleration after slowing (as for a light that turned green while approaching) the engine goes to full throttle (more power than normally available) and it requires full hard braking for an extended period of time, after an audible "pop" it responds. The hand book addresses this briefly, the dealer gives no answers and states the vehicle is safe. There is no interference from a floor mat ( this would only restrict the pedal going full anyway). I have credible witness to this event and other background is this engine was rebuilt by Ford after seizing up at 7900 miles and had numerous other problems since including fuel system and at least 7 cab removals.

The reductant heater recall needs to extend to at least my 2016 truck. They have had excessive failures. My last truck was included in the recall (warranty extension-program 18M01). This recall was given in 2018 and they should have included more than just 2012 to 2015.

When the vehicle speed is between 40-45 mph the vehicle has a noticeable vibration. I've had the vehicle checked and have the lifetime balance/rotation and alignment with Firestone. I have also taken it to the Ford dealer and they said there is nothing wrong with it. Continues to do this since I've owned it, bought used from carmax.

2016 Ford F350 entire rear window exploded upon entering vehicle and shutting door (door was shut normally, not slammed). Shattered glass landed in bed of truck with a few shards landing in the backseat of the extended cab. There was no reason why the rear window should have exploded. Temperature / weather was a clear day approximatly 69 degrees.

I experienced death wobble while driving approximately 70mph after hitting a rough patch of straight road on the highway. Extremely violently shaking! I ended up in the shoulder of the road. I could not control the truck until I got to a near complete stop. There was a total loss of control. Miraculously avoided a wreck on the highway.
