The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 5 MPH, the front driver-€™s side door was erroneously unlatched and opened. The contact indicated that on several occasions, the door would not remain latched. On other occasions, the door would not open as needed, causing the driver to use the front passenger-€™s side door to exit the vehicle. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V652000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 290,000.
