The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-350. The contact stated that the back-up camera had a glossy covering that developed over time and prevented a clear image. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V401000 (Equipment) however the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and it was confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was 130,000.
