  • 135,000 miles
The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH and towing a trailer, the vehicle abruptly came to a complete stop. After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the passenger-??s side rear axle had separated from the driveshaft. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the passenger-??s side rear axle shaft requiring a replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V688000 (Power Train) but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 135,000.

The vehicle has approximately 73K miles and approximately 3 months ago the transmission started hard shifting in 2nd gear. There have been several incidents where I have almost had accidents due to this. Ford will not replace the transmission despite the internet being flooded with persons saying they are having the same issue with the same year, make and model.

I was driving at 65 mph on the freeway when all of a sudden the vehicle starts shaking uncontrollably. I had practically no control of the vehicle as it was swerving all over the road. All I could do was hold onto the steering wheel and slow down as I veered into the grass median between the two freeways. I had my 12 year old daughter in the car when this happens and its absolutely unacceptable for a 70K vehicle to be this unsafe. Ive contacted Ford and they pretend as if this isnt an issue but if they dont get this fixed people will die. This has now happened twice within a weeks time on a 2019 Ford with 33K miles on it.

Hi, the attorney general told me to email you about my lemon Ford 1 ton Super Duty truck VIN # [xxx]. it's sitting at Ford in St. Cloud Minnesota waiting on a part. The attorney general said that you might want to look at it due to a bolt being left inside of the rear differential housing during the manufacturing of the truck, causing it to lock up temporarily after I hit a bump in the road. This caused the bolt to bounce up and go through the ring and pinion gearsand then got smashed between the differential carrier. This could have been very deadly to myself and others with me, if the bolt hadn't released itself. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Purchased a 2019 F350 in October of 2018 and starting at 20,000 miles or less vehicle started to violently shake or wobble. This first happen while going down the highway at 58 mph, and truck steering wheel and truck started to wobble and shake. I pulled over unsure what to do, but nothing seems wrong, as in flat tire, and drive shaft. Over the next few months this continued to happen. I have informed the dealer with no response and our local Ford dealer with no response. At routine maintenance appointment, they acknowledge to complaint but do nothing.

My new F350 with 6K miles on it starts to shake violently for no reason at all on speeds over 60 mph and the only way to correct the problem is to slow down to almost a stop. The steering wheel was shaking violently and so was the front of the truck.
