The contact stated that the vehicle had been repaired under Manufacturer Campaign Number: 22E04 Reprogram PCM/TCM (Power Train) however, after the repair the fuel economy had become significantly lessened. Prior to the repair the fuel economy was 22 MPG however, after the recall repair the fuel economy was 13.5 MPG. The contact stated that while hauling a trailer, the fuel economy fell from 13.4 MPG to 6.5 MPG. While driving with the cruise control activated, the fuel economy fell from 25 MPG to 15 MPG. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed that the recall remedy could not be reversed. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle or repaired.
