Local agent, factory are of no help as they say car is out off warranty and must just pay to have throttle control replaced. There is mention on internet of similar problems other models and it was factory recall problem. But they say if it was not recalled must just pay. Not prepared to check up if this was over look.

How does one find out if there was a recall and can you find who and where the car came from eg Europe or where and do they actually worry about recalls.
