My car would hesitate and stall when at a stand still or driving very slowly. I could be at a light waiting to turn left, in slow traffic, or on a freeway in traffic. The car would stall. Pretty freaky. (I live in L.A....when is there NOT traffic?) I was just as worried about someone hitting me from behind as I would have to quickly start my car. It was nerve-wracking. I used to put the car in neutral and keep my foot on the gas in hopes it wouldn't stall. Didn't always work. I already had a problem with stalling when the car had less than 10,000 miles on it but when I took it to dealership this time they said that was unrelated.

The first problem of stalling was due to an air box that they replaced under warranty. There was not enough oxygen which caused the stalling. Now, they said it was due to a throttle body sensor. It needed to be replaced and it was not covered under warranty. At this point, my car had only about 37,000 miles on it. It cost me a little over $1000 to fix.

I contacted Ford Corporate to complain and they opened a case but I did not receive any help with this repair. I find it odd, though since there's a "customer satisfaction program" for certain models of Fords for the same problem. Why not the Fiesta? Warning, people. I've had a ton of problems from the "get go" and I'm sure I'm not out of the woods yet.

Purchased this vehicle new. I've driven it ~49,500 miles (mostly highway). On 09 Aug. 2013 while driving to work on the highway the vehicle lost all drive power although there were no instrument warning lights. I coasted to the shoulder and tried the "Microsoft salute" (open the windows and turn-off the engine, restart), the vehicle would restart (no turnover at all). As of today, 17Aug, the vehicle is still in the dealership. I haven't received any information about the status as of yet, even though I contacted the sales guy I purchased the vehicle from. Wish I had bought a Toyota :(
