The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that the tail lights failed to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the tail light bulbs and replaced the fuse. The mechanic found that the fuse box was corroded and needed replacement. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 150,000.
