Fiesta CLXi 1.4d

  • Manual transmission
  • 7 miles

I bought a brand new Ford fiesta classic from PVS Ford-Calicut, India and took delivery on 26th march 2012. On the way back home the engine didn't respond to the acceleration and movement was missing.

On 28th morning vehicle was taken to service centre-PVS Ford, Calicut-80 kms. away from my place and a faulty cable in the injection system (that was unbelievable in a car Like Ford) got repaired, not replaced. After this incident the mileage has dropped to just 12km/ltr.- as you know the offer was 32kms/Ltr.

Again on 1st April, that is the 6th day after delivery, vehicle's wheel bearing blasted on the road and I had to drive the car with family, below 40 km/h to my house 120 kms. away and that too under extreme pressure and fear. The car has run a total of 500+ Kilometres only till now and it is still kept with the dealer. I asked for a copy of service details but the dealer refused to provide. I believe its my right to know what services had done to my vehicle (I may be taking delivery of car next day because I need a vehicle for the weekend).

As the vehicle crashed on road two times with serious manufacturing defects within a period of just six days and 500 kms, I demand a fresh car instead of this faulty repaired one. Please support if you feel this is genuine.
