Om Sunday March 28,2021 my husband and I attended a auto auction. When the dealer brought out a 2012 Ford Fiesta. Before bidding started everything looked and sounded alright. We ended up paying $3200 for a vehicle that they failed to provide faulty problems. Car has a lien on it. After driving off the lot I came to a red light when it turned green the car started sputtering loosing fuel as well as acceleration. I than pulled into the a parking at the gas station to see what was going on. And to my knowledge it was the transmission making noise as well as slipping, spark plugs, oil change. I then drove back to the car but everyone was gone for the day. I tried calling the office the next day and left messages. No response what so ever. The girls are really unorganized and should treat others the same you would treat them. I am writing this letter to inform everyone I was sold a vehicle that shouldn't have been on the road. I was also told today 4/5/21 that on March 5th a lien was filled out and turned in. I'm requesting the amount I paid for this lemon law vehicle along with compensation for giving false information.

My car shudders a lot when stopping especially on the highway or merging off the highway' also happens in city or suburbs if going over 40 mph;, gear slips when stationery before hitting gas to move car, speed slows down or hesitates when hitting gas pedal, took to dealership many times and nothing ever got fixed. Ford sent a letter stating that I would get double the warranty on the transmission and I will receive a letter stating this, but will not confirm anymore. Problems occured after I purchased this Fiesta in June 2012 but did not know that it was not working properly until the recall came out and I took it in for the first time. I was told that I was "too late" to get anything to fix it or have it taken back by Ford because I had waited a year. I didn't even know that the car was working poorly! it was brand new and I thought this was the way it was okay to drive because the problems were not as noticable. It got much worse as time passed. I have repair invoices but I need to fine them. I want my complaint filed now so that I am not forgotten. I had a lemon lawyer contact me named trott, who told me that if I accepted a claim he would put in for me, it would be the best deal I would get in terms of attonement. He said he got $8K and took $3K for his work. I received a check for $5K. I asked Mr. Trott if I should get the car repair with this money. He said people are keeping the money and getting rid of their cars. I kept my car because I cannot afford to buy another one regardless of the $5K I received. I do not use my car very much now because I do not like that it shudders when I use the brakes and that it slows down when I hit the gas pedal. I will upload the documentation you ask for when I locate it.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta. While the vehicle was idling at a red light with the brake pedal depressed, it spontaneously accelerated. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact had to turn the vehicle off in order to stop. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence and then towed the following day to automax Ford (3301 E central Texas expressway, killeen, tx 76543) where the total control module was reprogrammed. The contact also stated that the failure occurred two other times since July of 2018. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and filed case number: Cas-15591505. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.

I took my car to a Ford dealership to take action on recall 14M01. They replaced the clutch under warranty and returned my car to me. A day later my car flashed a check engine light while I was 45 minutes away from home on the highway. Codes that came up were addressed & the vehicles condition worsened until it went fully into limp mode while returning from an attempt to restart the computer.

Takata recall, a message will appear and say engine malfunction service now. And when it do appear the car slows down in the middle of the highway and the throttle pedal will not work even after you have had the car serviced, which is very dangerous.

When starting to accelerate, there is no power. The transmission then kicks back and it goes flying over 4000 rpms before it will shift. While driving, it will randomly give a slight kick and lose power, despite not increasing or decreasing pressure on the gas pedal. There was a class action lawsuit regarding this, I then got it "fixed" under warranty (total replacement of the clutch assembly) but the problem still persists. I have contacted the dealership I bought it from, and they will not return my calls or emails. I contacted Ford and they will not take any responsibility either. I bought this car only a year ago and the kbb value has already dropped to less than what I still owe, presumably in part due to the lawsuit. I am at a loss for what to do now. Not only am I financially hurting because of the constant trips to the shop and the loss of value, meaning I will never get out from under this car, but I am legitimately concerned for my safety and my life, and Ford doesn't care. I do not want to continue to drive this death trap but as it's worth far less than what I owe, I can't get another vehicle because my funds are wrapped up in this one.

I traded my cube for Fiesta. There are two recalls I found the attached in the glove compartment. I took it to sloan Ford. They told me if it doesn't meet the specifications of a recall they won't do the repair work. Tues they provided a shuttle service. I need the car to work. The car won't kick in from stop to start. It's a concern to me at a stop light. The window cover in passenger side dog chewed on the handle won't get replaced. Also the window switch on front passender won't close. I'm concerned, I want to keep the car, but I can't have it stall out on me. I was told by the dealership they'd give free repair and loaner car. I got it from roberts Honda in downingtown, and have an appointment sloan Ford. It looks like prior owner had it looked at didn't bring it in for the repair. I also wasn't given a second key to the car. Kindly help. It needs to kick in.. there's a transmission shutter and clutch repair job. I want to be safe in the car. Service advisor sounded like he didn't want to do the work. I need the information on the warranty 3yr/36000 can't get it. If I'm at a light and starting up, it feels like a machine gun rifle.... the cat light came on one time on dash too. The strink to hold up the trunk lift was given with duct tape on it.

I bought my 2012 Ford Fiesta in 9/2015 with approx.16,000 miles on it. Since I purchased the car, it has been in the shop 5 times (one of which for 26 days). #1 was due to the door latch. My 10yr old was sitting in the backseat when the right side door swung open while I was making a turn. #2 was due to the transmission. The car was having trouble shifting gears & began shaking, then the lights inside & out started blinking and the car completely shut off while I was driving down the highway. #3 was for the transmission again, which locked up while I was driving down I75 in naples the evening of 12/28/2015. The car completely locked up and had to be towed in the middle of the night. #4 the transmission again. While driving North on I75 the car started making a strange whinny noise then shortly after locked up while I was still driving. That time I barely made it off to the side of the highway. Car was towed again to dealership. #5 transmission...again. While driving at 11:30pm at night 8/2016 car lights started blinking on & off and then the car completely shut off while I was driving. Managed to be able to turn it on again and drive it to the dealership...where it stayed for 26 straight days. Tomorrow will be #6...due to transmission problems...again. Car is making whinny noises again, shaking and having trouble shifting gears, temperature light is coming on and A/C is not cooling anymore. Tomorrow I'll be getting an attorney as well.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta. While coming to a stop, the vehicle began to rev while in neutral at high speeds. The vehicle would decelerate intermittently as if it would stall, but then suddenly began to accelerate. The failure recurred while driving approximately 30 mph. The contact depressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle failed to stop until the anti-lock brakes were activated. The dealer stated that the electronic throttle body failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The part for the repair was on back order. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the repair was no longer under warranty. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 62,143.

Multiple problems were reported to me by the dealer as potentially being the cause when I took the car in for loss of power while driving, intermittent check engine light and wrench light along with shuddering in the transmission while driving. The dealer replaced (for the second time in 12-months) the clutch assembly, the seals, the clutch release lever and the clutch slave but stated that while the throttle body was bad and in need of replacement, the problem was not caused by the clutch nor did it contribute to the clutch problem and would not be covered by the extended Ford warrantee of the clutch. I had taken the car in with the same issue several months back but, because the check engine light was not on at the time, they dismissed the issue as normal functioning of the clutch. The same issue was the cause for the initial clutch assembly replacement a year ago. I plan to pursue the issue of the throttle body with Ford in light of the fact they are acknowledging and taking ownership of etb issues with 1.6M other Ford models in the same production period.

I purchased a 2012 Ford Fiesta automatic literally 3 days ago. After only 3 short days of driving it, it says "transmission service now", and also has shuttering in acceleration and delay in acceleration. It frightens me often when I am pulling out, turning or at a stop and go. When trying to accelerate it will shutter then receive a huge burst of speed. Which will then cause me to swerve almost losing control or will cause me to almost rear end the vehicle ahead of me.

When car is stopped or driving the transmission feels like it is going to slop. Feels like it is going to stall. Went T dealership and they said this is normal. This is not normal. Jerks and feels like chocking when driving or stopped. When accelerating jerks and feels like the transmission slips and isn't shifting. Went to dealership several times and they will not look into this. Looked online and noticed several forums and other people having the same troubles with the car. Needs to be corrected as it is a safety issue. Expressed. Concern with dealership that it was having troubles that it was either the transmission but looked at me. Like I did T know what I was talking about because I'm a chick.

Today, 1/19/2016 is my 6th visit to Ford dealer service since 2014 August. My car has been towed in to service location with condition of transmission shudders excessively. I was not able to drive the car with a in-operating transmission. It is very sad, I do not feel safe to drive the vehicle no more than 15 miles if I can. Transmission and clutch has been fixed for 3 times. Every time I have talked to Ford customer rep. They are telling me I should be okay because they extend my transmission coverage to 100.000 miles. Should I toss my car after 100.000 " I definitely do not feel I can make it to 100.000 without an injury!!! will company wait until someone get injured for a buyback policy? who is responsible for the time I spent on the issue"

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that after coming to a complete stop and attempting to make a left turn, the vehicle accelerated independently. The vehicle then stuttered and hesitated before the turn was made without warning. The failure recurred on several occasions after coming to a complete stop. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the failure was unable to be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.

Have had many instances of jerking and grinding while the vehicle shifted gears. However now vehicle struggles to accelerate when under load, engine revs but vehicle does not accelerate. This occurs notably when going from 10-20mph and trying to accelerate, as when trying to merge onto a highway from a ramp. Owned manual cars that required clutch replacement, sensation is similar. Vehicle has 26K miles, has had two clutches and three computer updates. Told by dealership that vehicle is safe to drive while they wait for parts, I disagree.

When I am at a stop sign or stop light my vehicle if I don't have the brake on securely I will roll a bit backwards until I put my foot on the break. As well as when I start to go at a light or stop sign the engine will sputter out while I put my foot on the gas peddle for the fist time since stopping. Then the engine will catch itself as I let off the gas peddle and then re-attach my foot to the gas peddle. There is a sputter grumble noise that happens at this time and a jerking movement you feel as the engine catches itself. Like the tranny is too low or something.
