Starting with the new car this started. The dealership said this is normal in all 6 speed automatic transmissions. The problem still occurs with a mileage of 124000 km. The problem occurs occasionally.
It seems to start working if you press hard on the throttle, then it starts to move. My concerns are that each time this happens I wonder if it is the last time for the car to move.

This is second Fiesta to do this to me. One did same thing, stuck in gear, so I traded that one in. I took my wife's Fiesta and she took the new car, not a Fiesta. I called dealer, they said it would be week and half to even look at it. Then they said if was transmission it would take 2 months for the parts. I work two full time jobs. They knew it was something wrong with transmission in this car and my car is out of warranty by 15000 miles. It's bull sh*t.
