The transmission continues to shudder and shake especially in lower gears. Its causing a unsafe driving experience. I have owned my Ford Fiesta for years now (bought it off the lot brand new). Now I have almost 120,000 miles on the vehicle. I have had the clutch "reset" several times but the problem continues. I have also brought it to the dealership two times when Ford - free of charge decided to replace the clutch and components all together. The last replacement which occurred about a year ago was supposed to be a permanent fix. Unfortunately it is not a fix at all. Its sad to say but I have gotten used to the defect in the car at this point. I have been driving it with moments when the car feels like it wont move !. almost all the passengers in the car always comment on the noise - clanking of the clutch and always the bucking sound. They usually say a comment like "damn you need a new car" or "its junk man". at this point as I get more miles on the car I bought it with the intent of owning the car for many years to come. However, with the power train components being unsafe it makes it hard. I tried to contact Ford customer service of the issue just the other day and I have an open case number. But they refereed me that they are aware of the situation and has placed a 150K mile warranty on the parts. But my argument is what happens after the 150K miles and it does it to the point where it cant move anymore. Or better yet what if it causes an accident from the poor performance of the power train. The contact mentioned that the vehicle was serviced per tsb: 14E08 to have the powertrain control module reprogrammed at freeway Ford (9700 lyndale ave S, bloomington, mn 55420 (952) 888-9481). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000.

I have taken it 4 times to Ford in cocoa Florida where I bought it and to be repaired and it still making grinding sounds and jerking! I am very cautious to pull out in traffic, afraid for me and my family to be riding in it.

Bought this car new on 12/22/2013 and have been having transmission problems from day 3 of owning it. This car is not safe to drive. It grinds, clicks and makes horribly loud noises. It stalls in the middle of turns and I've almost been ran over many times. It jerks and accelerates on its own without me evening telling it to. Now at approximately 54,000 miles it will no longer even start and the light says "transmission malfunction service now." The wrench light and engine light also come on and off, periodically. Ford Motor Company is well aware that they put bad transmissions in all of these new cars and we have been robbed. Is it going to take someone's death before someone does the right thing in this situation?

I have a 2013 Ford Fiesta SE and my car will not gain speed due to the clutch also the car shutters and shakes a lot taking off, turning or moving from a stop light. This is unsafe because I cannot gain speed enough or go fast enough to get out of someones way or for me to get on the high way. Which can cause an accident and almost has which is very unsafe for me and other drivers on the road. My rpms go up to at least 4 or 5 because my car will not shift and the lose of power is so bad this happens again almost each time I move from a stop light and I take off to go up a hill. It takes me longer to move causing people to almost hit me from behind several times. This has taken place sense I got the car in February of 2017 and it has continued to happen.

The transmission "jolts" and is not a smooth change of gears especially from a stop and moving up through the gearing to cruising. Its a nasty adventure to get to cruising speed and this is certainly not normal as I have been driving vehicles for over 40 years and this is a Ford problem and after this experience I would not purchase Ford again

The car stutters upon acceleration intermittently. We have had it in the shop twice and will be going in once again. The clutch has been cleaned up and replaced. It has been reported that tcm's are the issue. On 2/15, my daughter was stopped at a light. When she tried to go; it stopped and would not move. She had to shut down the car to get it moving once again. This problem is constantly returning.

Then about 30days latter found out what is wrong with it, I took the car in to have it fixed got it back still does the same thing. Sometimes I try to get it to take off from a stop sing an it will not take of good.I am the city car in front of me slow down then the car does not want to go up the hill.when it gets warm it runs real bad.I got it going 25 mph in city I try to give it more gas and it putt putt all the time.I call Ford dealers tell me bring it in nothing has helped it. They told me to hit the gas pedal hard I tried that does not help.in June 2016 got a letter in mail my door lock need to be fixed I went to Ford dealer said they don't know how to fix it yet.the door opened by itself one time.it does it on highway when come to a hill to give more gas and it putt.this car the way it acts I will not sell it to any one.it will kill them or me driving it.
