This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
A common problem with the manual trans case leaking while still under warranty. They went so far as to wipe the case off and then say they couldn't find a leak. Typical of Hawk Ford In Oak Lawn Il. they will sell you a car but not fix it. I have since learned that if one dealer won't fix it go to another. You are not obligated to go where you bought the car.

I saved up for years to go on vacation. I got stuck in upper NY and had to end my vacation waiting for my car. Due to the expenses I had no money left. Guess if I save up for the next 12 years, I may be able to afford another vacation, unless my horrible enlarged, not very functional heart acts up, again. I was screwed. In fact the dealership in Watertown, Dickinson, don't ever use them, told me they might be able to schedule me on the machine to diagnose the problem, next week. I explained, out of state nurse, really can't wait that long.
They did not care and acted as if I were an annoyance to them. they sent me to Fucillo in Adams, They had on the lift torn apart and the parts ordered the next day. My car was ready the next Tuesday. I have purchased Fords for the last 5 vehicles we have had. I am really not thrilled with them anymore and especially angry that my vacation is now gone, my money is gone and it really sucked.
