On a long road trip with my mother while accelerating onto a highway I heard a metal object from the front right of my car drop onto the road. Subsequently, I heard a minor clanking/rattling noise every now and then but everything was operating normally and I could not connect any driving actions to this noise. Later on I looked under the vehicle for any loose hanging objects but could see none. When I got home I went to my home Ford dealer they were charging an exorbitant diagnostic fee so I went to a different dealer with a more reasonable fee. I was asked if I recently had my brakes serviced to which I replied yes. I was told there was a missing upper right caliper bolt. This explained the noise I heard of a metal object dropping. I brought it to the attention of the service manager of my home dealer. I was reimbursed by my home dealer for the cost of the diagnosis and repair at the other dealer. Some months later there was management shakeup of personnel and I learned that the service manager and technicians that I spoke with were replaced. I didn't think much at the time that it was anything more than carelessness but I came across some new information. The use of Torque to Yield (TTY) bolts in vehicle safety related components presents a safety hazard. These type of bolts are one-time or single use. They are indistinguishable from traditional bolts. Once torqued to specification, the loosening of these bolts will cause them to fail. They complicate routine maintenance, require more precise equipment, and leave a lot to chance of human error. Improper installation or reuse of these bolts will lead to catastrophic failure. General ignorance among professional trained mechanics, as well as auto part stores, DIY vehicle owners, as well as lack of labeling, and lack of proper warning from vehicle manufacturers is a recipe for disaster. Vehicle manufacturers should not use these bolts for safety related vehicle components. Vehicle owners should be informed.

I have three or more recalls on my vehicle went a couple years ago to have them repaired I was told I had paid 120 just for them to look at the car so I didn't have them repaired I went to your system and saw that it was reported that all my recalls have been repaired and that's a false statement none of my recalls have been repairman on lashes have fallen off my inside with my gauges it is coming apart my phone areas don't work anymore my axle or studs in things have been messed up that messed up my lights in the inside of the car keeps flickering.now my engine light has come on it won't go off the car has 214,000+ miles on it and I don't want to break apart I just paid it off.I've had to replace the serpentine belt twice the rubber around the insulation of the doors is coming off the areas where you can see your radio in speedometer and fogged up. The dealership told me I couldn't get the eggs and radio free for six months I have the sensor but they said they can activate it in a standard model the tire exploded three weeks after having the car I reported the rubbing sound when I first bought the car and they told me that's what new cars sound like and then wants to tire exploded the Ford dealership I took it to send it to the corporation they claim they said it was route has it but I didn't hit anything.the transmission had to be repaired after six months and now is acting up again.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. While driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle started to vibrate violently. The contact turned the vehicle around and attempted to drive home, which was in close proximity. When the contact attempted to brake, the brake pedal traveled all the way down to the floorboard. The vehicle was towed to Ford of clermont (1101 E hwy 50, clermont, fl 34711) where it was diagnosed that the passenger side rear wheel brake fluid line needed to be replaced due to a shudder that occurred while driving. After the brake line was replaced, the dealer called the contact and informed him that the entire brake assembly needed to be replaced. After the repairs were performed, the dealer called the contact back and advised him that the ABS needed to be replaced as well. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000. Consumer received a letter from the manufacturer, letter stated the contact might of hit something and could have caused the brakeline to break. Although, vehicle was repaired it could happen again.

"takata recall" I am submitting a complaint regarding my brake system. When I apply my foot on brakes there is no pressure, brakes go all the way to the ground; as if I am not going to stop. I have to pump or press hard on brakes. My brake light on dashboard never came on, indicating a problem with brakes. This just suddenly happened on my way to work (10/26/2017). I had brakes change on 10/31/2017 and still car would not stop. I had to brake hard, this happened as I was leaving the parking lot, driveway. Each incident occurred while I was driving and need to slow down to brake for a stop sign or light signal.

On September 30, 2014, driving on residential road at 40 mph, with no prior warning all vehicle console lights lid up and dash console showed an error "immobilizer failure". steering and brakes began to worsen making the vehicle inoperable.this while crossing a busy intersection in which thankfully the light was turned in my favor.this was very scary and could have lead to a tragic event. Fortunately I did not panic and was able to use vehicle momentum to drive into a plaza driveway. At this moment I feel that this vehicle is dangerous and should not be on the road. I strongly urge that there be an investigation opened immediately. Your attention to this matter is with great urgency. Regards
