The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle began to vibrate abnormally. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact pulled over and turned off and restarted the vehicle and the vehicle started shuddering. The contact was eventually able to drive the vehicle without the failure recurring. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer and it was diagnosed that the transmission had a "flutter" and determined that numerous transmission parts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. While driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle started to vibrate violently. The contact turned the vehicle around and attempted to drive home, which was in close proximity. When the contact attempted to brake, the brake pedal traveled all the way down to the floorboard. The vehicle was towed to Ford of clermont (1101 E hwy 50, clermont, fl 34711) where it was diagnosed that the passenger side rear wheel brake fluid line needed to be replaced due to a shudder that occurred while driving. After the brake line was replaced, the dealer called the contact and informed him that the entire brake assembly needed to be replaced. After the repairs were performed, the dealer called the contact back and advised him that the ABS needed to be replaced as well. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000. Consumer received a letter from the manufacturer, letter stated the contact might of hit something and could have caused the brakeline to break. Although, vehicle was repaired it could happen again.
