At 5,000 miles the brakes started squealing at low speeds when I am creepy up to a stop or going over a speed bump. It seems it only happens when the brakes are cold. The dealership has lubricated the brakes, turned the rotors twice, finally found that a strut was broken so they replaced that and said the brakes shouldn't squeal anymore. Ha, they still squeal and I have been told to live with it as now the car is 15 months old and the warranty ran out 3 months ago even though I reported the problem and have been having the brakes worked on since the car was 8 months old with only 5,000 miles. The dealership refuses to fix the brakes and I am told if I buy new brakes and pay to have them installed those new brakes will come with a lifetime warranty. Does anyone else have brake issues with their new Ford Fiesta? It is so sad that Ford will not honor a bad part and replace it.
