Fiesta SE Hatch 1.6L 16-valve Ti-Vct I-4

  • Manual transmission
  • 1,500 miles

Returned the vehicle to the dealer to check on a previous waiting for repairs issue and complained about the EZ Fill fuel smell and fuel flash back running down the side of the car when removing the pump nozzle. I had them write up an another issue also.

Ford should leave the cap-less fuel system for NASCAR put the screw on caps back in use or least make it an option I never problem with a screw on cap. Ford is making widow makers again???? I am still waiting for a resolve.

Where do I assign the blame? Dealer or the company?

Update from Aug 10, 2018: Back at the dealer , parts on order.

Will see if it remedies the problem .

Update from Sep 12, 2018: Went to the dealer for repairs , the fuel fill valve and tube replaced under warranty brought the vehicle home the fill system still emits fumes and odors.
