Drove to the store with no issues. On the drive home, the car shut down with no power whatsoever. Restarted the car and the Check engine / check transmission notifications were indicated. I was able to drive the car home doing no more than 1 MPH. the car died again in my driveway. I've had no issues prior to this, no indication of transmission slipping etc. Just had the oil changed. The car was in for a transmission recall in the past and I'm hoping this issue has something with this recall and Ford will fix it. Not holding my breath though and not looking forward to having to purchase a new car this time of year!

My granddaughter who is 2 months pregnant was driving my car from work today. As she was exiting off of Walker Road the car completely shut off in traffic. Thank GOD the light was on red. Two nice gentlemen helped to move the car to a Circle K store across the street. We later called my brother who pulled the car to his house. I am so thankful my granddaughter and the baby wasn't hurt. This could have been devastating had this happened in moving traffic. I could have lost both of them. We tried starting the car but it would not start. My brother put something on it and over 10 different codes came up. I'm now without transportation and have to figure out how to pay for getting my car fixed. Had my granddaughter and her baby been hurt, Ford would be paying out of their a**es. They need to have a recall on this problem because this is happening to a lot of people. I guess when someone gets seriously hurt (God forbid) they will open their eyes.
