Water leaks through seals around large roof window. Actually first occurred in roof rack tray area where screws sit. Within past week, leak came back even worse and they said it was seal of actual window. They charged another $350. Also, they said the tray that the window sits in has a major crack, and should be replaced for $2,400, that is not going to happen. Seriously. Also, I wonder if the cracks in the top corners where the rear hatch closes, due to compression, has anything to do with it?

The rear of my car is full of water. This is the second time I have had problems with this. I just realized that it was full of water. It is leaking from the rear sunroof now. I didn't notice it until today. I really don't like this car. It's a poor design.

The weather stripping goes bad. It then leaks like a waterfall destroying the headliner, carpet and all the underlying metals. They want to charge $400 to replace (cheap) weather stripping. The real problem is that the drain channels under the weather stripping are made too shallow to handle the leaks. ( these things are always going to leak) I had to remove the headliner. take some body caulk strips and build up the ends of the channels so that the water would not overflow into the headliner. It has worked fine for 4 years. It cost $20 for the caulk strips and 50+ hours to get the headliner out and reach the necessary areas, because everything is engineered to be proprietary.
