The biggest issue is that a common part (i.e.- r. rear brake caliper) was unavailable through regular auto parts stores. Ford only a few at selected dealers in the U.S. (ten). I was also told that the left caliper is on backorder until Sept. Once I FOUND a dealer willing to sell me one, I was told to keep the original packaging and I would be able to get the core price back at my local dealer once I got back home. This was FALSE information. Not to mention there are also several NHSTA TSBs on this brake issue, so Ford seems to be in denial.
