While driving on 96 east toward Detroit, in rush hour morning traffic, as the traffic slows, the vehicle simply stalls or cut off. Because I was slowing down, I did not initially notice it until I tapped the gas and received no power. I looked at the dash and noticed the RPM's at zero, and the battery light on. Then the gas and every other light came on. I had no room to get over to the side of road as I was in the middle lane in rush hour; cars were to my left, right, front and back. With my wife in the passenger seat and my one and two year old in the back, I was beginning to panic as I was starting up an incline while coasting with no one around me knowing I was coming to a complete stop.
I put the car in neutral and attempted to start the car and it started. I, then, put the car in drive and it began to drive normally. I drove another 15+ miles to drop off my children at daycare and my wife at work. Then drove straight to the dealership, Bob Maxey Ford in Detroit, MI. I am awaiting what they determine is the cause. For them to look at the car it's going to cost me $94.00. They are not even sure if they can determine what the problem is, or that they can get my car back to me today. I was shuttled here but I am hoping they at least give me a loaner if that is the case. Very unhappy customer right now.

after getting flex back from dealer for fuel senders, drive 400 miles it quits on my wife in rush hour traffic, she's in left lane has to coast over, no room on berm next to concrete divider, i go and tell her to leave and i stayed with it till tow truck comes an hour and a half later, worried i'm going to be a sitting duck.

Coming home from work with wife and children, car stalled when coming off the highway. As I came to a stop, the car simply cut off. It restarted and I thought it was a fluke. I should have taken it in. A bit concerned because I am off my warranty. :-(
