This certainly appears to be a well known issue with this vehicle and yet no recall from Ford. Plus it appears the fix is $1,500 just for the part.

Flex Limited Eco Bost

EAPS goes out at any time no warning. sometimes comes back ok, other times ford repaired and did a update and it works. not a good fix. car is dangerous with no EAPS.
