Bought the car as our retirement car last car we'll own new. We live on a paved driveway and the tires are coming apart. The warranty states covered by tire company Hankook. The tire still has over 7/32" on treat, less than 3 years old, less than 36,000 miles which is stated in tire warranty that was in Fords warranty information. We meet all 3 of the criteria for warranty.
Our local Ford dealer has replaced the struts on the front three times in the last 6 months and since the tire problem it has been back three times for the service writer to look at and take pictures. I found out the end of the week he has been busy and still has not filled anything out to the tire manufacturer. The Salem Ford dealer when we purchased the Flex had promised to take care of the car and after we purchased an extended warranty along with free loaner car when in shop for repairs or service (tires not included) but the last couple times there it was like we were really putting them out and because they told us they longer did loaner cars.
Just not what we expected from a Ford dealer or a Ford product. I've been a loyal Ford family for the past 25+ years and have a fleet of Ford vans for my company and (2) powerstroke diesels here at home along with the Flex and a Ford transit Connect. Well I've complained enough hopefully someone at Ford will read this and help our local dealer get his a-- in gear to help us. thanks for allowing me to gripe.
tires chunks coming out only 19,000 miles
