No throttle response, sometimes, after turning a corner.
Bought this 2018 Ford Flex Limited 3.5L twin turbo early 2019 with about 23,xxx miles. Seemed to be in great condition. Only problem is, it RANDOMLY, has NO THROTTLE RESPONSE, AT ALL, for a few seconds, after turning a corner, it just continues to IDLE for about 4-5 seconds, totally ignoring the foot feed. Then, it will rev up. Never know when it will do this, it is completely unpredictable. NO, I did NOT touch the brake pedal, at all. I can stab the gas pedal as many time as I wish, but it completely ignores me, kinda like a WIFE. I told the dealer about this, and, of course, they " Never heard of anything like this...", nor has anyone on any any web site where I asked about it. No bad codes on my scanner. All 3 accelerator signals appear good, nor can I find any logs in the ECM. THROTTLE body plate not sticking, clean as a bottle of "Mr Clean" never opened! Currently has about 32xxx miles on it. This really "Irrigates me off", you know? Can be quite dangerous because some impatient turkey coming at me around the corner from the opposite direction, gets all excited because I cannot get out of his/her way. Has ANYONE, else had this problem???? I do not know of any !! Can ANYONE, figure this out???
