Control arm failure resulted in tires needing to be replaced, though they had less than 20,000 miles. Ford would not warranty them and Firestone would not honor warranty due to damage being caused by defect in the car. The problem with the engine starting and/or dying has just begun in recent months and seems to be getting worse.
