Rear tires had "cupping" wear around the tread. Ford dealer said it was because I did not rotate the tires (front tires are ok). Firestone dealer used alignment instruments that showed the rear was out of alignment. Firestone, as do I, believe the car was not properly aligned coming off the assembly line. Firestone said that they had seen many Focus models with premature rear tire wear problems. (tiresize: P195/60tr1)

I have had the car for 2 months, it had 55 miles on it when I purchased it. I was going 25 miles down southern parkway and the tire blew out. What I mean to say is that the tire literally fell apart. I have pictures of this, it is something that needs to be seen to be believed.( dot number: De559P tire size: P125/60R15 )
