Exactly same problem as Sarah M. Front & rear heated screen not working, rear wiper, interior lights, door open warning buzzer etc. This problem either followed or happened at the same time that the engine started to mis-fire and then went on to 3 cylinders. No 4 cylinder (next to coil) was out. This was cured by replacing the coil. Then these other faults became apparent. All relevant fuses appear ok. Is there a common return connection somewhere? Is there a good electrician in the house? Any other suggestions please.

Both the intermittent wiper and the back wiper do not work, the interior light does not come on when the door is open, there is no warning sound when the lights are left on when the door is open and ignition off. Both the front and back window heaters are not working. I have checked the owners guide and they all seem to come under separate fuses yet the faults all happened at the same time. Any ideas

I have a 2001 Ford Focus which has given me no problems until now. Three non-vital electrical functions have failed at the same time. They are: interior lights don't come on when doors opened/ignition switched off/alarm deactivated; warning buzzer doesn't sound when door opened with lights on; and wipers no longer automatically operate with windscreen washer. I can't figure out any combination of fuses or relays that would cause this... the Ford dealers said that they would have to strip down the doors to solve it, and it would cost a lot. I don't think the problem is with the doors. Any ideas, anyone?

Of course after warranty runs out, this poor design car follows, the darn light when out & i'm not gonna pay to replace the Central Timer Module, until all of it's functions are gone, as a module controls many functions such as timer for rear heated window, interior lights, intermited wipers operation front & rear & chime, when vehicle left with lights on, so as long as any of those components are still working, I'm not going to replace that module, unless Ford does something about this poorly designed vehicle...
