Please do NOT buy a Ford Focus ZX5! I have a 2002. Mechanic's say you have a 50/50 chance of getting a bad one. Guess which I have?! After one year of LIGHT driving, the front rotors and brake pads went out with MUCH grinding. Soon after a rear window motor went out. Then the CD player, and soon after the battery. Next I had to replace 4 dry rotted tires that had plenty of tread left. Next was another rear window which is being held up by wood dowels because the used replacement part is $350. + labor. Yesterday I had to replace the alternator because the battery light kept coming on, but the air bag light is still on. A sensor??? Oh! I almost forgot to mention that the windshield washer reservoir keeps leaking out most of the fluid! If I could afford it, I would bring it to the Ford place and set it on fire in their parking lot!!!

the front would grind at low speeds sometimes while braking and
stopping. after the first fix, it came back after 20,000 miles
or so. So the problem still exists
