The screws in my driver side sun visor fell out and the visor fell on me while I was driving. I couldn't find both screws to put it back in because one of them had worked its way out before the other, and I could never find it.

Okay, so I've had numerous problems with my piece of CRAP Focus. Tell everyone you know NEVER BUY A FOCUS!!!!!!
Interior problems involving cheap plastic include: 1. Center console cover does not 'catch' so it will not stay shut; 2. The driver's side visor/mirror just fell off one day and hit me in the head while I was driving (of course it picked a day that I was hungover). I hadn't even hit a bump, it happened while I was driving on smooth road; 3. The handle to roll the window up and down (yes, the OLD-style crank) came off right in my hand after I rolled the window up (UP-thank goodness); 4. The cover for the hatchback has one piece on each side that has to "click" into place into the car plastic interior, well, on one side the notch broke off; 5. The cover for the emergency gas-shut-off-button will not go back in (thanks to the darn salesman for taking it off and showing me where it is); and 6. The handle in between the door and my seat that is supposed to be used to recline or bring up my seat broke off and will not go back on.

My car has the center console armrest/storage compartment with the hinge-and-latch lid. Twernt long, and the plastic spring--yes plastic spring--strap went brittle and cracked in two. There is a grab tab on the front of the storage that contacts with a spring strap underneath that puts pressure against the tab to keep it latched shut. The spring cracked in half, so now I have to push the latch into position every time I close the compartment. Seems to me Ford should have used 5 more ounces of metal and designed a latch strong enough to hold under normal conditions, for at least, say 17-23 repitions. Smell the sarcasm.

Tried to wind up the driver's side window, and the crank handle broke off in my hand. Cheap plastic parts.
