Skip to the near end and stop where it says"nutshell" if you don't want to read my full rant but are still interested in understanding my perspective.

Rapid overheating of the engine during the operation of the air conditioner in this series of the Ford Focus has been a reoccurring topic, and that is why I am interested in "clearing the smoke". If you take care of your car and if your brain is actually attached to your spine, then you will not complain about this problem to the degree that it has become popular to do so. I condition my accessory belt. I check my tire pressure, tread, fluid levels, and more, after every trip, even so much as a drive to the market for cigarettes. I drive carefully, not only with safety in mind, but also the wear on my vehicle (slow turns, gentle acceleration, so on).

My fellow motor vehicle enthusiasts, you need only to take care of your car and it will take care of you. Guess what? My father owned a motherf*cking Echo. That car lasted longer than my brother-in-law's souped up Jaguar lasted him.

It all depends on the owner. When you purchase a vehicle, it's like having a baby. You raise it to become whatever it becomes. Sure, there are a few bad eggs out there, like the Echo, but overall, if you learn how to properly respect powerful machines and the luxurious technology within them, you are in for the ride of your life.

Anyways, about the AC. Everyone bitches about the f*cking AC problem in the 2003 Ford Focus, and sometimes not only the 2003. I was finally confronted by the same obstacle. The one that has everyone busting a testicle over it. I researched some coolant additives, found out about DEI's Radiator Release, compared it to Hyper Liquid Diamond, tallied up the stats, and bought my good old girl a bottle of it.

Problem solved. Because I'm a young arrogant turd who doesn't know what it means to have children, which gives me ample spare time (and wherewithal) to treat my vehicle as a child.

Nutshell: Going to your local auto store and asking for advice from the employees/manager can be beneficial to your cause...

P.S. You can see my 1960 Plymouth Valiant in the background of the third picture, oh heel yeah boi!

The car would overheat immediately. Took it to dealer. They said they fixed it, I got halfway home, car overheated. I had to take the car back twice before they got it fixed right. It ended up having something to do with some sensor.
