The driver side FIRESTONE factory installed tire blew right off the rim leaving the steel belt on the RIM. This happened after a road trip and the car had been in my driveway for about 15 minutes. With a very loud BANG, the tire blew off the rim.

My mechanic made a house call and could not believe his eyes. He had never seen anything like this before!

Pirelli--now that is a tire!
