driver window shattered for no obvious reason

Glass shattered all over my wife. Must be safety glass, no cuts. She was just going about her day, pressed control to lower window and it shattered. Independent car shop, AutoServ in Wheaton Maryland found used window and did replacement. Cost to repair about $480. Took to opportunity of car in shop to also get an oil change.
