Could not remove bolts without soaking overnight in Creep, they would have broken.
Over $100 for each arm, If I had to take it to a garage it would cost over double in parts and about 6 hours labor at $90 or more an hour.
These things should never go bad, at least in this mileage range. I have a 2002 Camaro with over 300,000km and never a problem, just wear items, brake rotors and pads and fan belt, one power window motor.
Other problems such as ignition lock, cost $700 to replace a $40 lock. Ridiculous.

Update from Jan 20, 2016: lower front control arm bushings and ball joints out of it, banging noise.
Replaced at great expense for something that should never go wrong.
Ignition lock also wore out, very expensive to replace when it's a cheap white metal lock.
