Crank but won't start,in Florida, when it's colder outside, i mean about 50 degrees or less i'm afraid the car won't start in the morning. i get the weather report before

going to bed and arrange for my wife to take my car to work instead of her ford focus 2006.. intermittent problem, had it into the dealer many times they said there was an official memo about replacing the computer... they did and on the next cold morning won't start, dealer is tired of replacing parts,,, and on some occasions it would start up infront of the mechanic and make me look bad,, then i take the car home sits for a couple hours then won't start again... i don't know what to do.!!!

You inconvenience everyone when it's your turn to do carpool and the dang car won't start. The dealership was somewhat skeptical when I said I couldn't start the car, because, of course, for them the car started. They tried to reprogram something and it helped for about a day. Like another person said, if the day is cold or damp, it's more likely to happen, but if the car has been sitting in the sun, then it starts easier. I can't afford to have a winter car and a summer car! I'm calling the dealership today and asking if they can replace the 2nd relay. I will follow up to see if this is the problem.

I personally think this is bull as soon as the warranty is up for no apparent reason (per mechanic at ford "this just happens) is BS. I could see if there were some issues that may have lead up to this but when the car is driven by a mother of 2 with one on the way and to work and back there is no reason for the computer system to just go out. Not to mention at the cost of the owner. Sounds to me like it is faulty equipment.

Car would not start at all after numerous tries on June 28th. Ford paid to have car towed in. Left it over a week as was going out of rown. Picked it up on return July 10. Said they replaced a relay although evidently not sure this was the problem

worked fine until May 06 then started not starting or even turning over when key turned. Starts after multiple tries then works fine for a period of time then begins to have problems again. Took it to a dealership in AZ then yesterday to one in OR. They check out the electronics and can't find a problem. Today I was out in the middle of nowhere and again the car wouldn't start for about 6 tries. I was told yesterday to try starting in neutral.. It did not make a difference. I need a car that is reliable that is why I bought a new one now am afraid to drive it out of town for fear I'll be stranded. The dealership says they can't find a problem thus I'll have to put up with this until they can find a problem Please help!
