The contact owns a 2006 Ford Focus. The contact noticed that the tail light bulb was melting down the plastic cover assembly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the tail light assembly needed to be replaced. The current and failure mileages were 22,000. The taillight socket assemblies overheated. Updated 09/04/09.
