This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
My transmission never acted up until I had the transmission serviced (trans oil changed) around 55k, at 57k the trans started jerking and jumping into gear. I called Ford Motor Company of Detroit and they told me that I still had my power train warranty up to 100k and all I would have to pay would be a $100 deductible. So I took it into South Point Ford and they reprogrammed my transmission. Still never acted the same though.

I will be calling to make an appointment. This transmission was just put in during the summer (see previous post). I'm so friggin mad right now. I have negative equity in the car which means I can't get rid of the sucker. My credit has crashed because of a forced move in the spring. So I'm stuck with it. Will update on response from Worthington Ford (Anchorage)

Well, here I am again complaining about my 2006 Ford Focus piece of sh*t! The automatic trans is jerking and jumping into gear yet again. I mean seriously, does Ford make good vehicles anymore!!??!! I will say this will be my LAST time buying a Ford!
