The light of the fan speed knob is not on intermittently and after turning it between 0 and 4 repeatedly does it resume illumination. It is not a big deal but I have to acknowledge that this car is full of electrical problems.

The climate control knob froze in the "defrost" position and it will not turn. It is impossible to get the a/c on or outside air. The car has fewer than 50,000 miles on it and is only seven years old. How can something as simple and as common as a control knob be so poorly made?
