Bought my 2008 Ford Focus (automatic) in June 2008. By January 2013 it only had about 34,000km (not miles) on it. The Speaker on the driver side door when you turn the speaker up to slightly above medium volume starts to vibrate in that the quality of the sound has gone out. And for those of us who have had speakers go be it car, computer, home .....you can tell the speaker is crapping out it isn't just a rattle. And I am not someone who cranks my music so it isn't due to abuse on my part.
Another list of small things that have gone wrong with this car. Not surprising tho I was told Chevy is bad with their small cars as well with front speakers.....guess Ford is up to similar tricks. Lucky me, it's not under warranty. Guess that will be another 100 bucks or so.
Update from Apr 2, 2013: I should add I have the SE model Focus....and it has no extra fancy radio system. The Ford Stock Radio system for an SE model (no sync or any of that)
