One more Alternator going bad on a three year old car. I just got home from the gym and realized I had left my workout shoes in the locker. I went back to the car after showering and tried to start the car and it acted like it was dead. I had my wife jump the car thinking I must of left a light on and the battery had died. I had her follow me back to the gym just in case anything happened and THANK GOD I DID. The car did not start after shutting it down which lead me to believe that my alternator was bad. I had her jump me again and I drove the car home. I did some research and was confirmed that Ford is a POS and this is a typically problem. After 500.00 in the hole I am going toyota and trading in the car to avoid the major issues in electrical which I have read about.
