Bought Ford Focus In June 2008 brand new. July 14th 2015 the vehicle only has 47.000 kilometers on it / 29,000 miles. Had the Focus in at the Ford Dealer today for an oil change and they said the lower rear control arms are separating. I realize the car is now 7 years old. But it's been rustproofed every year since new and has such little mileage. This car needed front sway bar links around 30,xxx thousand kilometers.
It just tells you what crap parts Ford is using. The car doesn't even have 50k on it needs new Rear Lower Control Arms.
Unreal.
Update from Jan 18, 2016: They said the bushings are what caused the lower control arms to need replacing.
Apparently you can't replace just the bushings. You have to buy the entire lower control arms with the bushings on it.
