My center console lights were working when I turned my headlights on till abount 3-3 months ago. When driving one night my wife pushed the rignt soft button on the center console and the lights went out on the console. Nothing I did could do turned the lights back. Thyn did go on when I had the radio on.
A clue happed two days age.
When I eas driving at night and made a call on my syc the center consolel lights went on!!
When parked the engine off, and started the engine, the center lights did not go on again!
Update from Jan 28, 2013: I went to my Dealer 3 times regarding this problem. They couldn't find anything wrong!. Don't get me wrong, my Ford dealer is the best as it takes me one (1) hour to get and of course to get back home and another dealer is 10 minutes away. I'm told that the center console (stack) lights should only go on when the radio is on. WOW, how come it was working for the first 7000 miles with out the radio on!!! Next step is going to Ford directly.
Update from Jan 31, 2013: The Dealer (Who is great and no problems before) said that the center console (Stack) lights only went on when the radio was on and the headlights were on. How about that, since they were working for the first 7-8000 miles.
