The contacts owns a 2012 Ford Focus. While driving approximately 10 mph, the front driver side door unlatched independently without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the door latch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. On another occasion, the contact mentioned that the rear liftgate unlatched independently without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear liftgate latch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 35,000.
