I recently submitted a complaint and received a purge valve recall from Ford. The vehicle was taken in on Sept 6 and repaired. On Sept 11th I went to start the vehicle and it hesitated to start. I tried again it started and a notification came on stating transmission malfunction service now. I had my transmission fixed in October 2018 and still have had constant issues. The car still stalls and goes in and out of gears. The car hesitates when turning or pressing on gas to accelerate. After a recent oil change the employee tried to change my headlight as it went out and 4 bulbs later he determined the wiring on the vehicle is horrible.on Nov 2nd my car hesitates to start and check engine light returns stating transmission malfunction. I brought the car into a shop and they thought to change the battery and pulled a code showing clutch position sensor in transmission. The passenger rear seat belt also has a malfunction. Im still paying on this vehicle and still have 11000 to go. Every year there is a constant issue. Im not covered under the warranty and when I was at the dealership stated the car didn't need work and wouldn't repair it. My biggest fear is driving with my children and the car stalls while turning and someone getting hurt. Ive spent thousands of dollars on this vehicle for the same issues within this transmission and Ford doesn't want to fix it.

Just a week after buying my car, the stereo started to make a very loud scratching and popping noise and then it would cut off and no sound would work. I tried to master reset it a few times and it is still having the issue. Now the noise it has been making is so loud and piercing that it makes me feel like my ears are going to bleed. I have looked up ways to stop this problem and I noticed that many people with the same care as me, have reported this exact same issue.

The dealer diagnosed that the audio control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the repair fees. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: Cas-24624323. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

We bought our daughter a 2012 Ford Focus and the power windows worked intermittently for awhile before they completely stopped working. I did some online research wondering if there has been a recall and noticed several complaints about the same issue. We did buy the car used and it's out of warranty but the power windows should not be malfunctioning on a car that is 7 years old. She can't even use a drive through or escape from her window if she needed to in an emergency! there were complaints of this issue from owners who brought the car new and were still under warranty as well. I am going to write to Ford as well about the issue because it seems to be a faulty part from what I've gathered. This should not be a repair the owner should have to pay for when there is evidence that this issue has been a problem since the car left the assembly lines.

Three weeks after buying my brand new 2012 Ford Focus, the car began to hesitate on the highway. I complained to the dealer who said it was a Ford problem and not theirs. The following month, I almost died in the car. A regional manager from Ford came to the dealership to speak with me, resolved nothing. I followed lemon law protocol and documented everything through the service dept. More than 12 visits. Four visits before the near fatal crash and the remainder afterwards. Ford ran out the statute of limitations on my vehicle so they did not have to pay me. The vehicle has a propensity of turning off when accelerating to 65 mph. When making a turn or U-turn the car hesitates. Ford admitted to manufacturer defect and still would not put me in my original position which has left me with disc displacements beneath my brain stem. I have chronic neck pain every day of my life. I was making a left hand turn and had plenty of time to turn. A white utility van flew out of the lane to try to beat the light as I was turning. The car turned off and I had to brace for impact. The car would not start. Two additional malfunctions caused the car to veer left and crash into curbs. Last week, I had to make a U-turn. I had plenty of time. While turning, the car hesitated, and the car was stopping, the way it did in 2012. I was almost killed by an 18-wheeler who thought I was initiating road rage. He then followed me and ran me off the road coming one inch to the side of my vehicle. I tried to take pictures, but my hand was trembling. Ford needs to replace my vehicle at the replacement value from July of 2012 and obey the va lemon law statute. Ford offered me a buy out of $8,000 in December 2018. I had to lay out $14,000 for a new vehicle. They should have credited all of my car payments $17K, and provided a settlement for permanent spine and neck injuries. Accountability is demanded.

I bought my vehicle in 2015. 2 months after I bought the car I was driving on the highway and the car shuts off. It was towed and fixed by Ford stating there was a recall for the computer system. As time went on the vehicle would stall and jerk switching out of gears. When I took it to Ford they stated I needed a new transmission but it wasn't the part covered under the warranty. In October I was driving and the indicator comes on stating transmission hot. The car from there would not reverse. I was in a different state on vacation and had to take the vehicle to a local shop due to Ford not being able to see the car for a week. It was stated the vehicles transmission was gone and I would need a new one. I spent over $1900 on a rebuilt transmission only for the car to still be slipping in and out of gears. If I am making a turn the car stalls and jerks before it picks up.
