The last time I had to take my "awesome" Ford in because of a recall (not to mention it just died on me for no reason and tow was not covered by insurance), I was treated so badly by the Ford dealership I brought it to (and BOUGHT it from) that I called Ford Corp. myself and complained loudly but politely. By the end of that day, my car was fixed and no charge (this was after being told $149 to look at it and at least a week before they could get to my car). NOW the engine doesn't turn over. It takes 4-5 times, switching key around, etc. before it starts. By far this is the WORST car I've ever owned....thanks for letting me vent.

Update from Dec 21, 2016: Just to add to the above, my first dealership told me "nothing wrong with the car"! Sure, that's why I had to have it towed.

Total crap. Mine had no gas in the aircon within 3 weeks. After being re-gassed twice they finally found a major leak. No sh!t Sherlock!! Within 18 months a major oil seal leak was detected & the car shook vigorously whilst being driven. December 2014 the computer shut down and the car could not be started & computer part was replaced. Yesterday I had to pay $250 for a tow as the transmission has now failed. Today, April 2015, it's back with Ford again whilst they decide what's wrong. I'll tell you what's wrong. It's a LEMON.

I complained to auto dealer - THE ANSWER!

Why, I am posting this message!

IT'S A FEATURE.

What the hell! I come to full stop. Press the peddle and I get this jerk from the engine.

Try drinking coffee and have this happen.

Ford has to fix this!
