I have not gotten the problem fixed, when I first reported the problem I was told this was normal. the problem is still currently there I have not gotten anything fixed. I did a search on this vehicle and there are other people having the same problem that I am having.

1. it stutter while driving

2. it rolls back when stopped

3. it loses power and when I press on the gas it accelerates very quickly after a couple seconds

4. now I have a check engine light on that came on Sunday and I have appointment to take in today 6/24/2015 to see what it is. I will update this when I know more.

I have only been driving this car a little over a year now. Very annoyed at the performance. you would think that because of all the same complaints about this vehicle that something would have been done by now.

My 2012 Focus had started out with problems - October 2012 with a repair on the dash for a knocking sound. Nov 2012 had another knocking sound behind dash -October 2013 - transmission shuddering - March 2014 - seat belt repair- September 2014 - new clutch -November 14 - transmission rattle - March 2015 - check engine light went on replaced TCM clutch adaptive - This most recent one left me stranded on a busy road at lunch hour - car went in & out of gear, almost got rear ended. Drove with flashers on until I could safely pull over

At that point called Ford Roadside Assistance - they towed car to the dealer - they gave me a piece of garbage loaner a Fiesta that has a shuddering sound. I called FORD Customer service which is what the dealer manager said. They took my 3 complaints & I said I wanted a buyback. The Customer Service Rep for the Pacific Northwest was a complete jerk, he did not care about the past repairs. He said he talked to the dealer KENDALL FORD & that the car is running fine now!!!!

We threatened a lawyer & he said FINE & gave me his name. I have a call into a Lemon Law attorney & have received no call back.. I cannot trade in the car, because my Carfax has 6 or 7 repairs & the trade in is $11,000, (I owe much more then that even with a great interest rate) I don't know what more to do. I'm legally disabled & I'm exhausted of the heartache with the car & Ford is not Quality is job #1. Next time could turn out horribly worse.

Car has been in for transmission issues 3 times and is still shuddering and making clanking noises when shifting - I'm told this is what it is with this transmission. I can't accept that as "Normal" no matter what the transmission is. What is Ford going to do for us? Covering something for 100,000 miles is not good enough because the way things have gone it is going to continue to have problems!
