I have had this car for 6 years and I have had nothing but problems with it.
On March 8, 2019, I got in my car as I normally do. After driving for a good 5 minutes, my window wipers turned on on their own and began going off very erratically. I could not turn it off with the wiper switch. I was nervous because number one, its not raining outside, my car seems like its possessed and it just totally caught me off guard. If I this happens to someone in a freeway, it could be very dangerous.
Since I was on my way to work, when I got to work, I called my mom and she came to pick it up to take it to the dealership, we thought it may have been a mistake the dealership made with the car because it had been at the shop less than two weeks prior to today. We had taken it in for a recall on another issue. When my mom took it to the dealership, they told her it was not an issue from the previous work they had done on it and told her they could make her an appointment to have the car fixed. My mom said she was going to look more into the problem and then she would give them a call back. My mom asked if there was a fuse for the wipers so she could turn them off temporarily and they said yes. They showed her how to take out the fuse and off she went with the car.
I decided to look up if anyone else has had this problem, and I have seen that many people have. I saw that there was a recall for 2012 models with a similar issue, but no recalls for the 2013 Ford Focus. There should be because there are so many people with the same problem. One of those people could get into an accident because of this. I hope they are able to resolve this issue.

The windshield wipers start working by themselves even when the car is parked and doors are locked and no keys are in the ignition - and they won't stop working, unless by itself. It might drain the battery (has not yet, because the battery is new).
