Speakers would sporadically crackle every now and then, but would gradually become more frequent. Eventually the audio system stopped working altogether. Only the clock in the console screen works. Audio does not turn on. No Sync, no bluetooth, no radio, and no luck using the audio jack. Ford dealership quoted $1200 total to fix, requiring a new radio module.

Finally got audio control unit that fixed all issues, including the sound system blowing and sync audio/bluetooth voice not being heard. Cost nothing due to it being covered from previous repair.
