I had new tires put on at the Ford dealership in the fall of 2019. Nobody said anything about the lug nuts. I went in for oil change and tire rotation on 2-27-2020 and the service guy said nothing. As I looked at the paperwork I noticed the note about the lugs nuts being "rounded" so they couldn't rotate my tires. I called the service manager and he said the lug nuts have a cap on them and get worn down. They can take the caps off free and leave the ugly lug nuts showing or I can pay to buy new lug nuts. I certainly won't buy their lug nuts if I can help it. I will NOT get another Ford car. This is NOT my 1st problem with the Ford Focus.

Update from Jul 7, 2020: Ford said their wrench could not take the lug nuts off because they were rounded with wear.

I went to the auto store n bought lug nuts n had them replaced at another auto shop. They said They had no trouble getting the "rounded" lugs off when they put on the ones I brought to them

Needed car inspecting to transfer car from PA. to MD. and it did not pass inspection because of the lug nuts. Now I have to put out $200.00 to have them fixed because Ford is too cheap to do a recall. I am a retired person and for me to put out an additional $200.00 from my meager Social Security is outrageous. This is very upsetting.
